I get a lot of questions about whether climbing rope leashes would work for smaller pups. Too often small dogs are stuck with boring leather or flat nylon leashes because they're the only options available. While one of the big perks of climbing rope is the strength and durability, another big perk is the light weight!
Light weight is not the only consideration, though, when picking out the perfect leash for your pup. Many climbing ropes come in a range of diameters (thickness). Because of the metal clasps that are used on all Just Pet Products Leashes, certain ropes require larger (or smaller) metal clasps.
